Cogito137-The Thought Capsule is a multimedia and multilingual science communication platform, hosted by IISER Kolkata, run by students and alumni of the institute, with assistance from the International Realtions and Outreach office.
The role includes supervision of all publications, events and initiatives of the platform.
-Fact-checking, copy editing and proof-reading final copy of each publication
-Maintaining coordination within team members and the overall working atmosphere
-Execution of all initiatives taken up by the team
-Navigating the general direction and stand of the platform
-Conducting new recruitments, mentoring and guiding new recruits

Workshop Organization
Scicomm for Scientists

A 7-day science communication workshop for undergraduate and graduate students in science disclipines, for aquiring the basic tools of scicomm. The workshop was funded by Department of Science, Govt. of India and was organised by Cogito137, IISER Kolkata.
As one of the primary organizers, working directly under the convenor, the role included the entire logistical organisation of the workshop.
-Networking with science media personas for logistical organization
-Designing hands-on sessions conducted as a part of the workshop
-Conduction of sessions on editing and the logistics of running a scicomm platform

Scicomm 2020
Live talk titled "Baby steps to a scicomm network" at SciComm 2020, a virtual conference organised by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, United States discussing a model for emerging scicomm platforms in academia and networking possibilities among them.
Lightning talk titled "Understanding the language of dog behaviour" at SciComm 2020, explaining a research project from the PhD dissertation, in non-technical language, in 4 minutes.
